This Let’s Learn English class will focus on assisting students to understand language that is used in everyday activities.

This Let’s Learn English class will focus on assisting students to understand language that is used in everyday activities.

Students will increase their vocabulary, understanding of idioms and/or expressions and will increase their recognition of the written text used in everyday living. They will also be encouraged to attempt writing activities.

This course is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government Funding.
To be eligible to enrol in ACFE Board funded pre-accredited training, learners must meet the following criteria:

  • Australian Citizen
  • Holder of an Australian permanent visa
  • New Zealand Citizen
  • Asylum seekers holding valid visa that confers eligibility for Skills First training

AND:

  • Principal place of residence is in Victoria
  • 17 and over and not enrolled at school
  • Under 17 and not enrolled at school with exemption
  • Terms and Conditions Apply

OR:
Asylum seekers holding valid BVE, TPV or SHEV visa, that have been referred by Jobs Victoria Mentoring Service providers to pre-accredited pre-employment programs.**Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (SHEV), Temporary Protection Visa (TPV), Bridging Visa class E (BVE)

  • Wednesdays 9:30am - 12:45pm
  • Starts 4 February (9 weeks)
  • $20 (Tuition fee - $10 + Student Services/Amenities -$10. Full cost $140 if non-eligible for Learn Local funding)
